Yay...it's Friday! :) Today is a great day not only because it is the kickoff to what's sure to be a fabulous weekend, but also because it's Anita Be Stampin Digi Release and Blog Hop day! There are 3 brand spankin' new digi images available NOW at the Anita Be Stampin Shoppe, and we are celebrating by having a blog hop filled with inspiration. Be sure to visit all of the stops on the blog hop today, because one lucky winner who comments on EVERY blog along the way will win the entire digi release. Gotta love that!
Check out my project using the new Anita Be Stampin Tessa digi image. She makes such an adorable graduate, don't you think? ;) I used patterned paper from the Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934 6x6 paper pad. Lots of the papers in this collection would complement graduation themed images nicely. Are you curious as to why I chose to make the A in GRAD red? I created the sentiment using alphabet stamps, and since the recipient of this card's name starts with A, I thought it would be a cute way to personalize the card a bit.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Now it's time to scoot on over and visit Brenda. She will most certainly have a fabulous project to share with you! Remember to leave a comment on every blog on the hop by Sunday, May 8th at 12:01 am CST for your chance to win all of the Anita Be Stampin digi images released today. Hi there! :) Today the Anita Be Stampin design team members are all sharing previews of new digi images that will be released tomorrow. I have made this bright, cheery card using the ABS Amberlee digi image that will be available starting tomorrow.
To celebrate the release of our fairy digi images, there will be a blog hop tomorrow at the Anita Be Stampin Blog. You won't want to miss it! Psst...there will also be prizes. ;)
Here is a photo that better shows the bling on the fairy wings. They are so very sparkly in real life! I sure hope you like the new Amberlee digi image. Can't wait to see you at the blog hop tomorrow! :)
Hugs,

Happy Tuesday, peeps! :) I hope you are having a fabulous week so far. Today is my little bro's birthday, and here is the fun little card that I made for him. I am pretty famous for not getting cards mailed on time, so of course this one will be arriving late. LOL Happy Birthday, Mikey!
While I was flipping through the paper pad, I was inspired by a certain paper that had a banner pattern on it. While the banner themed paper was fabulous, it didn't quite fit with my card. So I decided to give creating my own banner a try instead. I cut the triangle shapes from cardstock and then dry embossed them using my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder. I adhered the triangle shapes to a piece Brown Sugar Divine Twine, and what do you know...I had a cute little banner! ;)
Might I suggest that you now scoot on over to the Anita Be Stampin Challenge Blog to see all of creations made for this week's challenge by the other ABS DT members? ;) Yep, that definitely sounds like a great idea. LOL
Eeek...is it really Tuesday already!?! I do believe it is, and that means that it's time for Anita Be Stampin Challenge #11. This week we have a fun little sketch for you, and there is a $15 Anita Be Stampin gift certificate up for grabs just for playing along. Check out all of the details on the ABS Challenge Blog.
I hadn't pulled out my Anita Be Stampin Cherry Sweet rubber stamp set for awhile, so I decided to whip something new up with it. I typically don't leave my buttons "naked", but those cherries just didn't look quite right with a twine or string knot. Please just look away if you are offended by their "nakedness". I wouldn't want to make you blush! LOL
There's a smidge of a mistake on this card. Did you notice? I thought the flower stems in the patterned paper were black, so I colored the accessories black. After I had most of the card assembled, I realized the stems were actually brown. If I would have known I would have colored accessories brown to match. What can I say...I'm a matchy matchy type of gal! LOL
I hope you'll swing on over to the Anita Be Stampin Challenge Blog to see all of the creations that the design team have made to inspire you. Don't forget to play along with us! :)
Thanks for stopping by today!

Happy Sunday, peeps! :) I am so sorry for my recent lack of blog posts. Sometimes the uglies of life steal away my crafty mojo, and I can't bring myself to whip anything up that even resembles something cute. I think things are on the upswing though. I had a lot of fun creating this card yesterday using the Anita Be Stampin Bears & Bunches cling mounted rubber stamp set!
I created the sun by punching a circle out and then adhering hand cuts strips of paper. No fancy die cuts needed for me, I guess! LOL Did you notice the Cotton Candy Divine Twine trimming the edge of the main image panel? I am so used to layering my images with Nestabilities, so the main image panel looked like it needed a little extra oomph without that trusty scalloped layer. I think that little bit of Divine Twine added just the right touch.
I missed the deadline on Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #100, which was sponsored by Anita Be Stampin, but my card was truly inspired by the cupcake inspiration photo above. The sketch used is from the super sweet Jen del Muro's SFYTT Challenge for March. I usually never try sketches that have the main image layer on an angle, but I just had to give this one a try. This card will also be entered in the Flutterby Wednesday(anything goes) and Cute Card Thursday(spring) challenges. I sure hope you like my card! :)
Here is the simple card that I created based on the cupcake inspiration photo above. I made those roses myself! Just in case it isn't entirely obvious. LOL This card shimmers in real life, as both the muslin fabric roses and the punched butterfly were painted with Shimmerz angel wingz paint. Also the vine flourish is quite shiny. I need to learn to capture these details better by improving my photography skills. I'm adding that to my to do list... ;)
Today's Cupcake Inspiration Challenge is bittersweet for me as this is the last week that I will be participating as a CIC Design Team Sweetie. Being a part of the design team has been such a wonderful experience, and the super sweet queen CIC Sweetie, Rachel, has been so good to me. I've loved every minute of it! I'll still be playing along in the challenge regularly as this is one of my all time favorite challenges, and Anita Be Stampin will be a regular sponsor of the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge too.
